Guild Rules:

• We pride ourselves on honesty and fair play. If you follow this rule, you really don't need any other rules.
  
• Don't make the guild look bad. We have a good reputation, don't spoil it. That includes making asinine posts on public forums, being a constant irritant in server chat channels, being unfair (see #1) with loot distribution on runs, or cheating. Having a good reputation is important to us, and benefits everyone in the guild.
  
• Don't be greedy (see #1). We have been generous with each other since this guild was founded. People who abide by this have made friends, friends get more instance runs, and everyone benefits. Pardon my language, but don't be a loot whore. Don't beg. Don't ask for loans on guild chat. Don't "sell" to guild members.
  
• Maturity counts. We do not have age restrictions, but this is a mature guild. If you can't get along in a mature manner, expect to hear from an officer. We don't shell out our $15 a month to babysit other people's maladjusted children (no matter how old they are), so don't be one. While some joking around is fun, know when to quit.
  
• Share with others, and this includes your precious gaming time. Help staff guild runs when you can. Fill in when runs lose a player. If you only go on a run when there's something in it for you, how can you expect to get help from others? We enhance our reputation when a pick-up-group loses a member, and someone from our guild can find a replacement and finish the run.
  
• Keep the profanity on guild chat and ventrilo down to a dull roar. Everyone enjoys a good joke now and then but don't make an ass of yourself with constant streams of foul language. 1337 sp33k is annoying, you can type w/ numbers, nobody is impressed.
  
• Racist comments are not tolerated, in guild chat, forums, server channels, or anywhere else. The same goes for comments regarding people's religious preferences, gender, or sexual orientation. Besides, describing things as "gay" all the time simply makes it clear to everyone that you are a 13-year-old boy. See #4.
  
• Do not harass other players. People who do this will be asked to leave or kicked out if necessary. "Camping" enemies is acceptable PVP, though we prefer you reserve this for people who deserve it. Sending harassing tells is unacceptable. If people in the guild are having to put you on their ignore lists, (excluding Lama), you'd better fix your problem and apologize while you're at it.

About Us:
Dark Breed is a casual raiding guild focused on end-game progression.

Expectations for Raiding Members (These apply only to members who wish to raid):

• You must be 80.
  
• You must be proficient at managing your class in a raid environment and capable of learning and adapting to new encounters quickly. ( ie Practice, practice, practice... Try out some heroics first!!)
  
• You should be able to maximize your contribution to the raid. If you aren't sure on some aspects of your class.. Please ask questions of your fellows and research things.
  
• You should always come to raids prepared, with any necessary consumables and with prior knowledge of progression encounters if such information is available.
  
• You should be capable of managing your own time and gaming environment to allow for your full attention during raids. This means not missing raid instructions on Vent because you have music blasting through your headphones, and not having to AFK every 15 minutes because your mother wants your to help her with something (AFKs here and there are fine, but if you are chronically going to be a cause of slowing the raid down, its slightly inconsiderate to the rest of the raid).
  
• You must have the technical resources to be able to pull your weight. Specifically, this means having a good computer, a stable internet connection, and Ventrilo for listening to raid instructions.[/li]
  
• You should be able to get along well with everyone. We play this game to have fun and enjoy each others' company, and we don't feel like dealing with people who have unpleasant or confrontational personalities, no matter how good you are.

Important Info:

• Our raid times are: Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday along with a weekend Karazahn group all of which start at 7:00pm server time.
  
• Our view is that we raid for fun; hanging out with each other and enjoying each others company. We do get loot however and should be happy for any guildie who gets some tasty morsel.
  
• Applicants being considered for recruitment will be taken on raids for two weeks on a trial basis and will, in most cases, be ineligible for loot unless it is going to be disenchanted.
  
• Our loot distribution method is explained in the Raid Rules
